Inspire HOPE Occupational & Physical Therapy

We met in 2012 while working as in-patient therapists at a hospital. We realized fairly quickly that we both had the same style of treatment. We like to take time with patient's by listening and being present with them. Therapy is about the whole body and we address how mental and physical well being are connected. I, Melissa, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023. I underwent subsequent bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction, experiencing how the whole body and mind are affected. I am now a cancer survivor! But in going through this experience, I realized how underserved this population is. Kristine and I were inspired to provide hope and healing to those experiencing breast cancer. We undertook many hours of training to become certified oncology and breast cancer rehabilitation therapists. We are excited to hear your story and join you on your journey!
